I am a multi award-winning garden designer and horticulturist with over 30 years’ experience. I design and manage gardens in the Chew Valley, Mendips, Wells, Glastonbury, Bath, Bristol, North Somerset and BANES.

A garden takes time to fully flourish and grow, but whether it’s a small corner you wish to transform or a large field, my aim is to help your garden thrive and to help you relax and enjoy your little space on planet Earth.

I’m first and foremost a gardener; all my additional skills have grown from my love of plants and working the soil. I have also in the past created many RHS show gardens for charities.

My approach and ethos

My ethos is to help you create a garden that is suitable for your needs and in balance with nature, all in a very organic and natural way. Working closely with you, I produce hand-drawn plans with which we quickly begin to create a wonderful new environment to an agreed budget. I’ll then continue to oversee your garden for as long as you need me.

Most gardens already have hidden gems in the form of materials and plants, which I love to reuse to provide a truly sustainable approach. By using plants that are suitable for your particular aspect, you can also enjoy their colours, fragrance and beauty while attracting insects, birds and other creatures.
